My name is Abigail, my family and I are missionaries in Baja Mexico. We travel a lot and it so happens that one time at a gas station somewhere on the Baja peninsula my whole family decided to stop and use the rest room.
The woman's restroom was located right next to the men's as usual. Once I'd finished my business and was out side I could hear my brothers voices echoing through the entrance of the men's restroom. As I stood there waiting I came up with idea to try to scare at least one of the them as they came out. I stood right next to the entrance waiting and listening to their foot steps. After like fifteen seconds of waiting I heard footsteps approaching the entrance and I got ready to yell "boo". The next thing I see as I jump out, is a short older Mexican lady with a VERY terrified look on her face and my older brother standing right behind her laughing his guts out. I was soooo embarrassed and said sorry so fast she probably didn't understand me and I ran off back to the car as fast as I could.
To this day I can still see the look on her face and wonder just how freaked out she might have been to see a "crazy" white girl jumping out saying booo. My family; especially my older brother, have, to this day, never let me forget this story.
